Elizabeth Long is a self-trained artist whose work primarily centers on portraiture and the human figure. Her source of inspiration is threefold – the heights to which people rise when faced with impossible odds; the way extraordinary people are perceived by others and yet not by themselves (humble hero); and the way people perceive themselves and do not share with the world at large (alter-ego). She lives and works out of Puyallup, Washington.
